I created this resource page to share my recommendations of diabetes resources that I use and/or know are valuable. I have discovered these services, products, and companies through my extensive research and through recommendations from others in the diabetes community. I put them all here in one convenient place to supplement the content that I share and save you time!

Blood Glucose Monitor

Whether you’re newly diagnosed, or have had type 2 diabetes for years, testing your blood sugar using a personal blood glucose monitor is a cornerstone of diabetes treatment. This is usually the first place to start because it can determine treatment decisions as well has blood sugar highs and lows. But you need an accurate meter and one that has all of the features that work for you.

Continuous Blood Glucose Monitor

Depending on how far type 2 diabetes has progressed… it might be a good idea to use a continuous blood glucose monitor. This is a great idea for two reasons. It allows you to track your blood sugar for high and lows more accurately. Plus, you don’t have to prick your finger constantly to stay on top of things. A1C Testing

By now you already know how important your A1C test is. This test measures your average blood sugar levels over the past 2 to 3 months. Think of this test as your blood sugar report card. If you want to get to your blood sugar goals, this test is vital and you’ll be ahead of the game if you have your own A1C self-check system.

This is a great FREE resource for taking control of your goals.
